Job: Unqualified Nursery Nurse

Location: Leeds, LS22, LS23 and LS29

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000
Start: ASAP

The School and Role

Empowering Learning is working closely with a large chain of private nurseries school based in Leeds. The nurseries are based in different parts of Leeds and have an age range from 6 months to 4 years. Their hours are 8 till 6 pm, but they do offer flexi hours, ad hoc work, temp and perm jobs.

We are lookig for perm staff to start asap. Please be aware wokring in a nursery does require personal care.

Requirements

The desired Unqualified Nursery Nurse will have.

Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to deal effectively with students presenting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques as appropriate
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Knowledge and experience of behaviour management and restorative strategies
Experienced and comfortable with children
Having a driving licence is desirable for this roleWhat we offer
