Executive Principal - Lead the Future of SEN Education

Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for transforming the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a visionary and highly motivated Executive Principal to oversee and drive excellence across our network of SEN Secondary Colleges. You would be based in Lancaster.

This is a rare opportunity to lead at a strategic level, ensuring outstanding educational outcomes, promoting inclusion, and empowering students with diverse needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide dynamic leadership across multiple SEN secondary settings, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and care

* Shape and deliver a clear, ambitious vision for inclusive education across the colleges

* Inspire, develop, and support senior leadership teams and staff to achieve excellence

* Lead on curriculum innovation tailored to a wide range of special educational needs (including ASD, SEMH, SLD, and PMLD)

* Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance, and SEND best practice

* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external stakeholders

* Drive strategic growth, improvement, and innovation across the colleges

The Ideal Candidate:

* A proven senior leader with experience in SEN education (e.g. Headteacher, Principal, Director of Education)

* Deep understanding of complex special educational needs and the SEND Code of Practice

* Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills

* Visionary, resilient, and committed to ensuring every learner thrives

* Relevant qualifications (e.g. NPQH, SENDCo Award, or similar desirable)
