The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a days-only shift position within a well-established building services provider offering strong career progression, structured training, and an attractive benefits package.

Working a 4 on 4 off days-only pattern, you will form part of a dedicated on-site engineering team responsible for maintaining critical electrical systems and ensuring the smooth operation of the building.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)

*

Electrical fault finding and reactive maintenance

*

Working on 3-phase power distribution systems

*

Emergency lighting testing and maintenance

*

Fire alarm testing and basic system checks

*

Maintenance of control panels and associated plant

*

Supporting mechanical engineers where required

*

Ensuring statutory compliance tasks are completed

*

Escorting subcontractors and monitoring works

*

Accurate completion of logbooks and reports

What We're Looking For

*

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

*

Experience within commercial building services maintenance

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Experience working on 3-phase systems

*

Professional, client-facing approach

*

Ability to work effectively within a shift team
