Your Key Responsibilities

Classroom Delivery

• Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
• Maintain a positive, structured learning environment
• Communicate clearly with students and ensure they understand the tasks

Behaviour & Progress

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Encourage engagement, participation and resilience
• Provide brief feedback on each lesson to assist the department

Professional Standards

• Follow school safeguarding policies
• Uphold high expectations for learning and conduct
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics
• QTS/QTLS preferred — experienced cover supervisors with strong Maths skills also welcomed
• Confident classroom presence
• Ability to deliver learning effectively using pre-set resources
• Adaptability, reliability and a genuine commitment to student progress
