Registered Manager - Lead a 4-Bed EBD Home in Walsall

Location & Context:

Walsall, West Midlands - 4-bed EBD children's home run by a national provider with strong leadership and development support.

Introduction:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to take full ownership of a well-resourced children's home and lead it to success. About the Role:

• Lead and manage a 4-bed home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties

• Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards (minimum “Good” expected)

• Create individualised care plans meeting emotional, educational, health, and social needs

• Build and develop a strong, stable team with full recruitment support

• Monitor and maintain care quality in line with the Statement of Purpose and regulations

• Promote a positive safeguarding culture and address any complaints or concerns

• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals

• Manage home budgets and deliver on commercial goals

About You:

• Minimum 2 years in residential childcare, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to start within 6 months)

• Strong understanding of Ofsted, SCCIF, and The Quality Standards

• Confident leader, team builder, and excellent communicator

• Full UK driving licence
