A&G Resourcing is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a reputable transportation business based in Newport, supporting critical motorway maintenance and barrier installation projects. This is a night shift role, with ongoing ad hoc assignments available through the agency.

Role Overview:This position involves operating Class 1 HGV vehicles as part of a team delivering and supporting motorway barrier systems and safety operations. Ideal for drivers with experience in highway environments or those looking to transition into infrastructure-focused driving work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operating and positioning HGV Class 1 vehicles for barrier transport and deployment
• Delivering and collecting temporary and permanent barrier systems
• Assisting with traffic management setup and removal
• Working closely with on-site crews to support motorway safety operations
• Ensuring full compliance with highway, health & safety, and transport regulations

Requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Experience in highways or barrier work is preferred
• Flexible approach to working hours (night shifts and occasional weekends)
• Awareness of motorway safety standards and protocols
