We’re looking for a SEND Project Manager for our public sector client based in Liverpool on an initial 6-month contract paying up to £500 per day outside IR35.
This role is reporting to the Head of SEND and accountable to the Programme Director. You will lead the setup and delivery of 6 to 8 workstreams/projects, and establish a Project Management Framework for future PMs to adopt. You’ll also develop Terms of Reference for each workstream and task-and-finish group.
This role requires strong project setup and delivery experience, alongside knowledge of SEND and its challenges.

Proven experience in setting up and managing complex projects

Knowledge and understanding of SEND

Ability to support workstream leads in prioritising activity

Capacity to absorb and progress project workload independently

Excellent organisational skills and use of PM tools

Able to work at pace - understanding time lost increases financial deficit

Strong problem-solving skills

Balancing cost-efficiency with quality and improved outcomes for children and young people

Ability to engage and work with a wide range of stakeholders including schools and external agencies
