Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) + On-Call Duties

An established and values-driven care provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to open and lead a brand-new 2-bedded children's home in Enfield. This is a unique opportunity to create a calm, therapeutic, and relationship-based environment for young people aged 7-17.

Role Highlights:

* Lead the opening of a new therapeutic home

* Work with young people recovering from trauma, neglect, or loss

Key Responsibilities:

* Register the home with Ofsted and lead inspections

* Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015

* Oversee all operational aspects including planning, safeguarding, and emotional support

* Recruit, manage, and develop a skilled and caring staff team

* Foster a calm, structured, and supportive home environment

* Build strong working relationships with external professionals

* Promote a culture of safety, reflection, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare, including 1 year in a leadership role

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

* Strong emotional resilience and a child-centred mindset

* Confident team leader with strong communication skills

* Solid understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
