The Role - Special Needs ECT

This SEN all through School are looking for an enthusiastic Special Needs ECT that is willing to teach EYFS up to KS5 pupils affected in varying degrees of autism. You must be able to display for special educational needs as well as the ability to deliver lessons of a high caliber. Furthermore, as an ECT you must have fantastic subject knowledge and classroom/behaviour management skills to prove a smooth running of the classroom through the day. The successful Special Needs ECT must be able to plan lessons with the capability to tailor the schools own curriculum to all levels of learning and ability of students within the class. Finally, as a Special needs ECT you must be a confident individual with a strong passion to benefit the lives of students with special needs.

The School - Special Needs ECT

This All Through SEN School is found in the London Borough of Southwark and benefits from its fantastic transport links making it very accessible. The School offers first class tailored education to its students aged between 3 to 18 years that have been diagnosed with Autism and complex needs. It is a rather large school with over 264 students, both boys and girls which enables them to treat each child as an individual and meet each child's needs and expectations. All staff within this SEN School are qualified and committed to the children and promote learning, development and independence. Furthermore, the senior leadership encourage training for all staff at the School, training is held on a weekly basis as well as compulsory online courses to further the knowledge of their staff.
