Job Title: Freelance AV Install / Service Engineer (Residential)
Location: London
Pay: £200.00 - £250.00 per day (depending on experience)

An established residential AV integration company is looking for experienced Freelance AV Install and Service Engineers to support a growing pipeline of high-end residential projects.

This role offers flexible freelance work on a day-rate basis, installing, servicing, and maintaining premium home automation and AV systems in luxury homes and apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning, and servicing of residential AV and smart home systems
Working with systems such as Control4, Crestron Home, Lutron, Savant, and high-end audio solutions
First and second fix AV cabling, rack building, and equipment installation
Diagnosing and repairing faults across AV, lighting control, and home network systems
Reading technical drawings and system schematics
Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers on-site to deliver a high-quality serviceRequirements:

Proven experience in residential AV installations and/or service
Strong understanding of smart home technologies and integrated AV systems
Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally
Full set of tools and PPE
ECS/CSCS certification (preferred)
Full UK driving licence and own reliable transport (essential)
Availability for immediate or short-notice freelance work
