Salary: £18500/annum excellent benefits

Our growing client in Cardiff, are looking to appoint an experienced Deliveries Coordinator to join their busy Warehouse team.

In this fast paced role, you will ensure all deliveries have been received accurately and processed in a timely manner, and liaise with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that processes are followed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency is upheld.

The Role:

Ensure all deliveries are received and booked in accurately, avoiding delays.
Prioritise workload and highlight areas of concern to Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
Liaise with all internal departments required to resolve delivery issues.
Utilise all goods in systems required to process deliveries into stock.
Maintain a good level of communication with other departments incoming deliveries.
Ensure all processes and data security requirements are followed.
Ensure overstock and normal stock process is managed effectively.
Liaise with logistics administration staff to ensure despatch requirements are maintained.
Ability to provide cover in all roles within the warehouse.
Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Ensure all MHE including ladders have been safety checked and recorded daily.
Resolving delivery issues and assisting with delivery enquiries.
Process recyclables and liaise with partners to maintain efficient waste management.
Accurately manage the transfer of stock between storage locations across the group.The Person:

Effective organisation skills and administration experience.
High level of accuracy when recording information.
Logical and methodical approach.
Understand the importance of working safely and adhering to health and safety.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to work on own initiative at all times.
Good computer literacy, and a good level of English and Maths.
Experience of working within a warehouse operation, and of 'goods in' function.
Effective team player with the ability to work in a small team.
