£37,000 p/a – Band 7 Equivalent Rates 35 Hours – Days Elderly Nursing Home – Good CQC An experienced RGN/Adult Nurse is required to work as Care Manager in a 50 bedded nursing home in central Birmingham. Details of this RGN Care Manager role and what the home is offering:
• A permanent contract to work 35 hours per week, working Mon – Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm
• A great annual salary of £37,000
• Ongoing learning and development prospects which include support with revalidation
• Reimbursement of your NMC registration fees
• Opt-in health insurance plans As Care Manager you will play a key role in the home management team and will manage, monitor and clinically supervise the team of care and nursing staff. You will take the lead on assessing residents and creating care plans and will participate in clinical audits to ensure clinical records are correctly managed and updated and that all aspects of care meet and exceed national requirements. What the home is looking for in a Care Manager:
• NMC Registered Nurse - Adult/RGN/RN1/RNA, Mental Health/RMN/RMHN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD
• Ideally have NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or be willing to undertake this
• Have proven experience working in a management role and be confident managing care and clinical documentation
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of legislation relevant to the care home sector, including CQC essential standards, DoLS, the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act Strong communication and interpersonal skills and strong leadership qualities Be prepared to share on call duties To apply now, please follow the link provided.
