Secondary Supply Teacher

• Daily Rate: £130 - £160

We are seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher to cover school absences across Surrey and West Sussex. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable, and ready to step in on short notice to ensure that students continue to receive high-quality education even in the absence of their regular teacher.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to secondary school students.
• Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual classes.
• Maintaining classroom discipline and overseeing student behaviour.
• Following the school's policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Providing feedback on student performance and any significant incidents to the regular teaching staff and school administration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Experience teaching in secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
