About Our Clients
​Our client, a well-established and welcoming day nursery in Epsom, are looking for an experienced Chef, ideally who has experience of working in a nursery or school environment, and has a full understanding of cooking for children and babies. Hours will be monday to friday 7.30am to 5pm, delivering meals to around 100 children on a daily basis.
Ideally you will have a level 3 Food Hygiene qualification, together with qualifications in Food preparation and cooking. Salary is up to £33k depending on qualifications and experience.
On good transport links, and within walking distance of train station.

Essential for the Nursery Chef role
* Level 2 or above in Food & Hygiene
* Qualifications in cooking, food preparation
* Experience in a nursery or school setting as a Chef
* Knowledge of children's portions, food allergies and cooking for large numbers
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production and culinary techniques
* Proficient in menu planning, recipe development and cost control
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
