Pay: MPS/UPS - Paid to Scale via PAYE (no umbrella deductions)

Long Term Futures is proud to be supporting an Ofsted-rated 'Good' all-through SEN school in Birmingham that provides a nurturing and structured environment for pupils aged 4 to 19 with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social and emotional challenges, and complex learning profiles. The school is known for its supportive leadership, collaborative ethos, and a pastoral team that truly goes above and beyond.

The Role:
You'll lead a small, well-supported class group, delivering adapted and engaging lessons designed to meet each learner's EHCP targets. This is a unique opportunity to shape individual outcomes and build meaningful relationships that last.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across a range of ability levels

Foster a calm, consistent, and structured classroom environment

Support students with ASD, SEMH, and other complex needs

Work closely with the SENCO, therapists, and families to review and refine learning plans

Encourage independence, resilience, and emotional regulation through a holistic approach

Use positive behaviour support strategies and track pupil progress effectively

What We're Looking For:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential

Previous experience in an SEN or inclusive setting is highly desirable

Excellent understanding of neurodiversity, emotional needs, and differentiated teaching

Strong classroom management and excellent interpersonal skills

Creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
