Are you an excellent writer ready to start your career in bid writing? Or do you have experience in proposals, administration, or content creation and want to build on your skills?

We’re partnering with a growing organisation seeking a Junior Bid Writer to join their Business Development team. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality bids that drive new business.

The Role:

As a Junior Bid Writer, you’ll support the creation of compelling, high-quality content for tenders, proposals, and bids. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues and internal teams to gather information, tailor responses, and help produce winning submissions.

This is a great opportunity to learn the full bid lifecycle while building your skills in writing, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the development of bid and tender responses
  • Writing clear, engaging, and tailored content for submissions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather key information
  • Assisting with the coordination and submission of bids to meet deadlines
  • Maintaining and updating bid content libraries
  • Proofreading and editing documents to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Using tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and AI platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot)
  • Contributing to presentations and sales materials
  • Supporting continuous improvement by gathering feedback on submissions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience in bids, proposals, admin, or content writing
  • Familiarity with facilities management or service-based industries
  • Exposure to Adobe or bid management tools
