Salary: £34000 - £38000/annum

We are looking for a Finance Manager, who will play a crucial role in overseeing the all financial operations of the company, working closely with the Owner/Director of the business. We are located in the Warwickshire countryside in a beautiful rural setting, we offer free onsite parking - you must be able to drive due to location

Hours 8:30am - 5pm - Monday to Friday

Holiday - 25 days plus bank holidays. Company NEST pension Scheme

Salary up to 38k

Key duties:

· Day to day bookkeeping duties, including posting purchase ledger invoices and bank transactions.

· Bank Reconciliations

· Monitoring multi company bank accounts

· Control Account reconciliations

· Raising Sales Ledget invoices to on site tenants and intercompany invoicing.

· Credit Card transaction reconciliation, posting and processing of payments.

· Monthly payroll site office based staff, including auto enrolment knowledge

· Raising of monthly plant hire invoices

· Assisting project managers, site managers and company director with ad-hoc financial reporting

· Monthly accounting journals for Depreciation and Accruals/Prepayments

· Monthly reconciliation of fixed assets

· PAYE and NIC reconciliation for payment to HMRC

· CIS payments to subcontractors and completion of returns to HMRC

· Nominal Ledger understanding and entry of journals

· Submission of quarterly VAT returns for multiple sites

· Draft year end accounts to P&L & BS level, review and adjust where necessary

· Assisting external accountants with year end audit reports/queries

· Ad hoc duties to assist other members of the team, ensuring a smooth running of the office and the site.

· Annual electricity renewals for on site electricity meters.

· Submission of renewable energy data online as part of rebate scheme

· Management of Petty Cash system

· Monthly intercompany recharges

· Monitoring and maintenance of inter company loan balances

· Monitoring and maintenance of site overhead analysis

Skills/experience required:

· AAT qualified or similar or qualified by experience

· Experience with Sage 50 accounts and Sage Payroll is a must

· Proficient with double-entry bookkeeping, with an excellent understand of key day-to-day financial activities.

· Previous experience of working hands on - financial management positions

· Experience in quarterly VAT return calculations and submissions.

· High competence with Microsoft office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.

· Great attention to detail and strong administration and analytical skills

· Ability to manage own time and workload

· Comfortable getting stuck in with a 'sleeves rolled up approach
