We are working with a national business from their Southern offices based between Portsmouth and Southampton to recruit someone to join their design team in a trainee, assistant or junior level role.

They specialise in framework and negotiated schemes typically £10 to £50 million in value in the education, university, health-care, leisure and retail marketplaces.

The role is to join the design team who work from initial bid stages, through negotiation and preconstruction and then take the scheme out on to site and manage the design element through to handover.

You will work on the initial bids, forming scope of works, creating bills and working with external consultants and subcontractors to establish the best, most effective and efficient way of completing the build and then working with the delivery team on site to manage the design element of the works and overcome issues and clashes.

The team are full of experts that you will be able to work with and learn from on a daily basis, you will work with estimators, bid managers and project managers to fully understand the process and get real hands on involvement. The training, development opportunities and career plans are amazing.

If you have at least a years experience in a design role with a contractor or subcontractor - no matter how junior and want the chance to join a business on the up then now's the chance.
