Multi Skilled Engineer

Alexander Steele is working with a leading food manufacturing business based in Norfolk. Our client is looking for an experienced multi skilled engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. The role holder will be responsible for testing and repairing equipment across teh manufacturing facility.

What's on Offer:

* Paying circa £48,000

* Company pension

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Monday - Friday (days/lates)

Responsibilities:

* Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including vehicles and other machinery.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.

* Conform to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices.

Background Experience:

* Engineering degree or relatable qualifications

* Proven experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

* Strong fault-finding skills

* Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.

* Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
