Financial Reporting Accountant - Global Luxury Hospitality Company - Paying £65,000 - £70,000 - 5 Days in London Offices We are working exclusively with a Global Luxury Hospitality Company who are seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Finance Team. You will be supporting the
Financial Controller and will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate reporting to internal stakeholders. This role demands a strong grasp of accounting principles, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This organisation is a global operator of boutique, high-end resorts and private residences. Known for its intimate, discreet guest experiences and exceptional service, the company’s properties are thoughtfully designed to harmonize with their natural surroundings. The company currently operates over 35 luxury properties across 20 countries and remains focused on expanding its portfolio through transformative experiences and distinctive locations worldwide.Please note
you must have previous experience within a similar role and 1 to 3 Years max
post qualified ACA or ACCA qualification, and be prepared to work
5 Days in their London Office.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Deliver financial insights and reports to senior management for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to validate financial data.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal policies.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Monitor and stay informed on evolving financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Strengthen internal controls related to financial reporting.
Key Requirements: - ACA or ACCA Qualification (must be 1 -3 years Post Qualified).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting or a related accounting role.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/software.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Must be prepared to work 5 days in London Office
