Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

A warm and welcoming primary school in Oldham is looking to appoint a dedicated and reliable 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey within a supportive and nurturing environment.

The Role:

Long-term position with an immediate start
Providing tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND
Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support strategies
Creating a safe, consistent, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience supporting children with SEND
Experience working with children with complex needs (desirable)
A reliable and committed approach to providing consistent support
A compassionate, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
