Salary: £28,000 - £42,664 per annum

Your new companyAre you an experienced Electrician with a strong commercial focused background looking for a new opportunity in a leading private hospital? This is the perfect opportunity for a committed engineer to join a team dedicated to providing the best environment around the hospital, ensuring all runs smoothly on a day to day basis.

Your new roleYou will be responsible for a wide range of repairs within the hospital, primarily electrical but also smaller tasks within other trades may be required. Your primary duties will be carrying out reactive maintenance, with the aim of completing first time fixes where possible. There will also be some PPM duties which you will be required to carry out, works will be shared down to you via an electrical device, enabling you to order and manage your workload. On a day to day basis, you are likely to be working with / carrying out repairs to, the following -

  • Heating and Ventilation Systems
  • Lighting, sockets and small power circuits
  • Emergency lighting systems
  • Fire alarms
  • Air conditioning systems

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in your application for this role, you will require to be qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, as well as possessing strong experience of maintaining building services and electrical plant / equipment servicing and repair. Experience of maintenance works within a hospital setting would also be beneficial, however not essential. You will also need to be willing to take part in a call out rota, occasionally requiring you to work outside of normal working hours where necessary.
