Great opportunity to work within a busy accounts team that covers purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking for several UK and non-UK companies.Position responsibilities

• Maintain the purchase ledger and deal with UK and non-UK suppliers.
• Perform reconciliations of supplier statements.
• Processing expenses and company credit cards.
• Ensure invoices are approved in line with company policies.
• Payment of purchase ledger invoices via weekly BACS and SEPA files.
• Creating manual payments for ad hoc bank transfers.
• Raising sales invoices, post receipts & reconcile customer accounts.
• Journal postings for bank interest and any other receipts / payments to the general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Timely completion of month-end ledger closing processes.
• Assisting the Corporate Accountants with queries.

• Familiarity with other European languages would be an advantage (not essential).

• JDE Accounting Software (Not essential)
• Confident and capable using the following: Excel, Word and Outlook
