CAD Technician - Sheet Metal

£30,000 - £35,000

Mon - Thur - 8am - 5pm & Fri 8am - 1pm

Information on the role

* Create 2D & 3D models using SolidWorks, Inventor, & AutoCAD

* Produce engineering drawings & bills of materials

* Liaise with customers & internal stakeholders, troubleshooting manufacturing issues

* Design Jigs & other manufacturing aids

* Plan sequences of manufacturing processes e.g., laser cutting, press braking, rolling, welding etc.

What we'd like from you

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit & Inventor

* Strong understanding of engineering processes & technical drawing standards

* Attention to detail

* Technical problem solving skills

* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

* Fabrication, Laser Cutting, Press Braking, Rolling, Machining, & Welding knowledge & experience
