This is an opportunity to join a food manufacturing giant who is thriving in some of the toughest times the UK has faced. Following recent change in business direction, they are looking for a pro-active and forward thinking Demand Planner to join their business.
After a new company strategy, this large food manufacturer is going from strength to strength as they solidify their position as a leader in the industry.
As a Demand Planner, you will be joining a very demanding (excuse the pun) team. They are lively, always busy and like all top performing teams, expect the best out of every individual. Being a fast paced food manufacturer you will be focussing on a lot of Short Term forecasting reacting to market changes, seasons and weather impacts. With lead times ranging from 3 days to 3 months, you'll need to be ahead of the curve and constantly striving to be going beyond your call of duty.
Coming into this position, you'll need to be confident in yourself and an outgoing character. With a large internal team, you will be working closely with all of the Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure the most precise accuracy to your work.

What's in it for you?

The business has not stopped growing. With a large structure across the business and multiple sites in the group it will be an opportunity for significant career development.
You'll feel at home in the planning team. They're a bunch of friendly, bubbly and lively characters who always have each other's backs, supporting where they can.

What do you need?

  • Demand Planning experience in the Food Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in creating and presenting short, medium and longer term forecasts.
  • Exposure to seasonal peaks.
  • An analytical, numbers driven mind-set.
  • A lively and friendly personality!
