Level 3 Teaching Assistant - September Start (Accrington Area)

Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference in a secondary school setting? We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school community in Accrington, starting September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality classroom support and ensure that all learners can achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, including those with additional needs
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons
Supporting the assessment and progress of students in collaboration with teaching staff
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote high expectations
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Have previous experience working in a school or educational setting
Be patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
