Our client, a well-established and highly regarded family-run construction and facilities management business based in Basildon, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their close-knit and supportive team.
This role would suit a Project Manager with a strong background in estimating and cost planning within facilities management or construction.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of a range of construction and FM projects from inception through to completion. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
A key part of this position will involve estimating, cost control, and supporting tenders, so previous experience in pricing and commercial awareness is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple construction and facilities management projects end-to-end

Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and cost plans
*
Develop and manage project programmes and resources
*
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
*
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
*
Identify risks and implement effective solutions
About You
*
Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction or facilities management
*
Strong background in estimating, pricing, or cost planning
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving
*
Competent with Microsoft Office and project management software
*
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
