Permanent Teacher of Maths (A-Level Potential) - Outstanding Barking School (Maths Department)

An outstanding school in Barking is seeking a talented and ambitious Permanent Teacher of Maths to join our dedicated Maths Department. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the mathematical progress and understanding of our students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a clear pathway and expectation to contribute to the teaching of A-Level Mathematics and potentially Further Mathematics in our Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver well-structured and engaging Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, building a strong foundation for future success.

* Nurture students' abilities in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and application, fostering a love of the subject.

* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Maths Department on curriculum development and assessment across all key stages, with a view to contributing to A-Level provision.

* Monitor student progress closely, providing effective support and guidance, with a focus on preparing students for the rigours of A-Level Mathematics.

* Demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to developing the skills and knowledge required to teach A-Level Mathematics and potentially Further Mathematics.

Qualifications & Experience:
