MECHANICAL FITTER - Accommodation & Travel Provided 💥
📍 Cumbria | 💼 Permanent Role | 💰 £60,000 - £75,000 DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team, working within asphalt, concrete plants, and quarry environments.

🔧 Key Skills & Experience Required:

* Strong knowledge of asphalt plant maintenance (drum & batch plants)

* Experience with concrete plants (dry & wet batch)

* Understanding of pneumatic systems (rams, solenoids, etc.)

* Hands-on mechanical experience (bearings, rollers, drums, valves, gates)

* Competent with industry hand tools

* Ability to MMA weld on-site

* Experience conducting plant inspections & reporting defects

* Able to manage workload, timelines, and work independently

* Knowledge of H&S documentation (risk assessments, method statements)

* Full UK driving licence required

💡 Desirable:

* Confined Space certification

* Mobile Plant operation (MEWP, Telehandler, FEL)

* First Aid

⏰ Working Pattern:

* 12-hour shifts

* 12 days on / 2 days off

* Flexibility required (including weekends)
