Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Team Assistant to join our team supporting our Business Development Managers (BDMs) in maintaining strong client relationships and helping the company to achieve new client opportunities.

The Role

As the Commercial Team Assistant, you will be at the heart of our commercial operations, working closely with our BDMs to ensure that both existing and prospective clients receive outstanding support and service. Your work will help drive our sales pipeline forward, ensuring we stay responsive, organised, and ahead of the game.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our Business Development Managers in managing key client accounts, including scheduling meetings, preparing follow-ups, and maintaining CRM records.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client-facing documents.
  • Conduct research on prospective clients and industry trends to help identify new opportunities.
  • Help manage client communications, including responding to queries and following up on outreach activities.
  • Coordinate and support the planning of sales events, demos, and client visits at our training centres.
  • Ensure our internal project and operations system is kept up to date with accurate and timely information relating to planned and on-going client projects.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g. operations, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.  

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a sales support, client service, or administrative role—ideally in a B2B or training environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with data and CRM other operations management software and tools (e.g. HubSpot).
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in safety, training, or immersive learning is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
