Your Responsibilities:

* To maintain and certify Fire Alarm and AOV systems.

* To complete the installation and modification of Fire Detection Systems

* To Install various fire alarm systems in commercial / residential / premises

* Expertise working with a variety of Fire Alarm Systems including addressable and conventional systems such as Apollo, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, EMS

* To have a wide knowledge and understanding of BS5839-1 and AOV systems

* To carry out duties of maintenance of Fire alarm systems and AOV's to the British standards BS5839-1 and BS7346-8

* Proven experience with programming, cause and effect.

* FIA Units 1 to 6

Your Experience:

* Extensive knowledge of working with a variety of Fire Alarm Systems including addressable and conventional systems such as Apollo, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, EMS

* Experience and Knowledge on AOV systems

* Strong knowledge of BS 5839‑1:2025 and its implications for installation, commissioning, and servicing of fire alarm systems.

* Ability to interpret schematics, zone charts, and technical documentation.

* Proven experience with programming, cause and effect.

* Knowledge of the current legislation and good practice across the industry and identification of any areas where additional or updated training would be beneficial.

* Understanding of the H&S at works act, current H&S legislation applicable to construction and the project involved with.

Your Background:

* Knowledge of BS5839-1 and AOV systems (Competent / Trained Person)

* Understanding of BS 7671 electrical requirements as they relate to fire alarm installations.

* Hold a current ECS Card (Fire Alarm)

* Full UK driving license as this role will require driving to various sites on a daily basis
