The Role - Maths Intervention Teaching Assistant

As a Maths Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will:

Deliver small-group and one-to-one maths interventions

Support pupils with numeracy, problem-solving, and confidence in maths

Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support progress

Adapt interventions to meet individual learning needs

Track progress and provide feedback where required

Support pupils across KS1, KS2, or KS3 (role dependent)

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant

Strong numeracy skills and confidence supporting maths learning

Experience delivering or supporting maths interventions (desirable)

A flexible, proactive, and patient approach

An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
