For the role of Civil Engineer, you will need to understand the planning requirements to design SUDS drainage strategy that will be accepted with minimal comments by the local authorities to then prepare an underground drainage package fully for construction. You will also be able to design the highways, inclusive of the tracking exercises, to get technical approval. You will have gone through the sectional approval process and be able to deliver this quickly and effectively (experience in using Causeway Drainage software is essential).

Job Responsibilities and Skills

* Understand Planning requirements to Design SUDS drainage strategy

* Fully prepare an underground drainage package for construction

* Design the Highways, inclusive of tracking exercises to get technical approval

* Experience going through the sectional approval process and be able to deliver them quickly and effectively

* Experience in Causeway Drainage Software is essential

* Preparation of drainage strategies and feasibility studies

* Preparation of detailed drainage designs for tender/construction

* Preparation of drainage layouts and section drawings

* Supporting our construction teams during construction and commissioning (setting out, construction details, clash analysis etc.).

Qualifications

* A degree in Civil Engineering is desirable but not essential

* A desire to work towards your professional accreditation is preferred
