Excellent opportunity for successful Private Equity backed global business for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to lead the Commercial Finance Function. This is a pivotal role supporting the leadership team with revenue and billing targets and supervising, building and motivating a high performing Finance Business Partner team.

Take responsibility for all finance business partnering and commercial planning, analysis & reporting activity, as well as supporting the CFO in the delivery of his business objectives. The Head of Commercial Finance will take a lead role in negotiation of client contracts alongside the group Managing Directors and will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to ensure that the business is delivering projects efficiently and profitably across its client base.

Core responsibilities:

* Being the strategic, commercial finance lead to Senior Management

* Manage and grow a high-performing finance business partner team

* Responsible for the delivery of management information and KPIs designed to inform improvements in business performance and efficiency and forecast future operating performance

* Lead and develop weekly revenue reporting and commentary to the board and senior management

* Lead the production of the monthly performance review document to be presented to board and executive leadership

* The provision of strategic and timely insight into trends and commercial opportunities and reporting that drives intelligent productivity and growth

* Lead the annual agency budgeting process, working with sector MDs to determine achievable targets for each group entity and presentation to the board and executive team for approval

* Lead the quarterly and half-yearly reforecasting exercises and provide insights as to drivers of variance to budget

* Develop and maintain pricing strategies to support the commercial success of the group, taking a lead on client contract pricing negotiations

* Develop and implement processes to ensure revenue recoverability is optimised and customer and business profitability is maximised

* Lead, motivate and develop the team, providing direction, upskilling and career development opportunities

* Review current processes and challenge the operational efficiency of the team. Suggest and implement improvements and solutions

* Work with the Group Reporting Accountant to streamline and improve current accounting systems and reporting processes

* Recognising opportunities for growth across the organisation, and working with the Group FD / Practice Heads to deliver it

* Work closely with the Group FD, Group Reporting Accountant and external advisors on analysis of acquisitions, due diligence and integration into the business
