Customer Service Representative - Spider is advertising on behalf of Seven Logistics who are recruiting a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Felixstowe, Suffolk in this full-time, permanent position.

About the role:

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for customers, working within a busy and fast-paced traffic office environment. You will be responsible for supporting daily operations by handling customer queries, coordinating administrative and transport-related processes, and working closely with operations and accounts teams to ensure a smooth service. Working hours are 40 hours per week between 07:30 and 17:30 on a rota basis, Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Responding to customer enquiries and providing support
Preparing, checking and processing invoices and handling related queries
Inputting delivery notes and reviewing landing times
Chasing PODs, releases, and outstanding shipping information
Pricing jobs using tariffs or email quotations and processing confirmed quotes
Liaising with operations and accounts to resolve day-to-day issues
Carrying out general administrative duties as required

About you:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will have current experience working in customer services within a busy traffic office environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. You will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential.
