A warm, well-supported SEN secondary school in Enfield is searching for an inspiring Humanities Teacher to join their team. You'll be teaching Humanities across KS3-KS4 to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and mild to moderate learning difficulties. • Teaching Humanities (e.g. History, Geography, RE) in a way that is accessible, engaging, and practical for learners with additional needs

• Adapting and differentiating lessons to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities

• Building strong, trusting relationships with students to help them feel confident and safe in the classroom

• Working closely with the SENCO, therapists, and pastoral staff to support individual learning plans

• Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback that motivates and empowers pupils

• Using creativity and real-world examples to bring Humanities topics to life

• Small class sizes and excellent support from experienced TAs

• A nurturing environment that values teamwork, wellbeing, and positive relationships

• Strong SEN leadership and regular CPD, including training in behaviour support and trauma-informed practice

• A chance to grow into a permanent role

• QTS, QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Humanities (SEN or mainstream welcome)
