A warm, well-supported SEN secondary school in Enfield is searching for an inspiring Humanities Teacher to join their team. You'll be teaching Humanities across KS3-KS4 to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and mild to moderate learning difficulties. This position comes with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing: -
Teaching Humanities (e.g. History, Geography, RE) in a way that is accessible, engaging, and practical for learners with additional needs

Adapting and differentiating lessons to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities

Building strong, trusting relationships with students to help them feel confident and safe in the classroom

Working closely with the SENCO, therapists, and pastoral staff to support individual learning plans

Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback that motivates and empowers pupils

Using creativity and real-world examples to bring Humanities topics to life

What They're Looking For: -
QTS, QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching Humanities (SEN or mainstream welcome)

Strong behaviour management rooted in empathy and positive relationships

Someone who enjoys thinking outside the box and making learning fun, relevant, and inclusive
