Academics Ltd is supporting a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Swindon, seeking dedicated individuals to support students with complex needs. In this role, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage with their learning while ensuring they feel safe, supported, and understood.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students with complex needs.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Build trusting relationships to help pupils feel secure and confident.
- Support teaching staff in delivering personalised learning activities.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
- Calm, resilient, and able to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Holds a clean and up-to-date DBS check or is willing to obtain one.
