SEN Science Teacher - Stockport (Full-Time)

Start Date: 8th September - October Half Term (initial contract)
Days: Monday to Friday

Are you a passionate Science Teacher with a flair for engaging learners and adapting lessons to meet individual needs? Do you have experience teaching Primary or Secondary students, and a genuine interest in supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are a specialist education company with a dedicated SEND team, working closely with schools across the North West. We support settings that require subject specialist teachers to deliver high-quality lessons in smaller class environments, helping children with a variety of additional needs to thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold QTS, QTLS, or another relevant teaching qualification

* Have experience teaching Science across KS3, KS4

* Show sensitivity, empathy, and resilience when working with disadvantaged or vulnerable young people

* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science, with a commitment to the wider ethos of the school

* Be available immediately for long Term placement

* Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service

* Be able to provide two professional references covering the last two years

* Have prior experience or a genuine interest in Special Needs Education
