English Teacher Job - Leicestershire

Teaching KS3 & KS4 EnglishWe are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher. This is a full-time job to start after February Half Term to provide long-term cover until the end of the academic year. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

Delivering engaging and creative English lessons.
Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
