We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused accountant with at least 3 years' experience in practice. You'll get hands-on responsibility for a range of accounts, tax and VAT work, with support and mentoring from experienced team members. Key Responsibilities

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Producing management accounts, working papers and reconciliations
Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with MTD requirements
Assisting with personal tax returns and corporation tax computations
Supporting tax planning activities when required
Maintaining organised records and documentation
Assisting with general practice administrative tasks as neededSkills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice
Strong numerical and IT skills (Excel, Word, email)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work to deadlines and manage a varied workload
Proactive, reliable and eager to develop further professionallyDesirable

Knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Studying or planning to study ACCA or ACAPersonal Attributes
