REED Practice is currently collaborating with a well-established and reputable accountancy firm based in Burton-on-Trent. Our client is actively recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

As an Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

• Preparing financial statements

• Supporting month-end and year-end close

• Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas

• Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses

• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules

To be considered for this role, you need to have previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
