Salary: £50k-£70k

About The Role:
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer that designs and develops complex hardware with applications in precision automation, electro-mechanical systems, and advanced manufacturing, from early-stage R&D through to full production. You'll be joining a talented, multidisciplinary team working at the cutting edge of innovation, delivering robust mechanical solutions that integrate seamlessly into larger, system-level platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design & deliver complex mechanical subsystems within integrated platforms

* Full product lifecycle development - concept generation, detailed design & design for manufacture

* Conduct hands-on prototyping & testing

* Work in a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering team

* Project leadership - lead projects, mentor & technically guide engineers

Key Requirements:

* Background in developing electro-mechanical systems

* Strong 3D CAD skills

* Proven experience in developing new products & precision mechanisms

* Knowledge of a range of manufacturing techniques

* Hands on and practical skills - prototyping & testing

* Demonstrable project leadership experience
