Order To Cash Manager

Robert Half are recruiting for an Order to Cash Manager on behalf of a fantastic, well established business, based near Birmingham Business Park. Our client is a market leader in their industry and have a fantastic opportunity for someone to be involved in higher level decision making in the business.


The Order to Cash Manager will be responsible for the operational management of the Credit Control and Billing Teams accountable for all Invoice Processing. You will be managing a a number of direct reports, but the prime focus of the Role is to ensure a robust, efficient and effective Process, underpinned by a defined set of Order to Cash dashboard metrics which ensure Control. The Role will involve embedding a shared services model and culture within the Order to Cash Processing Team, which ensures that it meets all defined Service Levels with the Business.


- Accountable for Service Delivery of Order to Cash
- Working effectively as part of the new Transaction Processing organisation structure and supporting colleagues, peers, management and staff within this structure
- Advocate, Champion and Deliverer of the Finance Transformation Road map as it affects Order to Cash
- Representing the Order to Cash Processing team and other projects
- Implementing the Vision for an effective OTC process as defined with the Head of Transaction Processing
- Working closely with and supporting other mangers.
- Ensure that common standards of process design, service delivery, control and people development exist across Transaction Processing
- Effective Team Management and development of all Team Lead direct reports
- Drive process efficiencies through continuous improvement, transformation & automation
- Accountable for setting and driving compliance with policies, processes and internal controls


The Order to Cash Manager must ensure effective service delivery within Budget Headcount and Costs on an annual basis.

**Key skills:**

- Extensive experience in managing a Credit Control and/or Billing Team
- Transformation and organisation design experience
- Team Management experience of a minimum of 10 staff
- People management experience of at least 2 Direct Reports
- Thorough operational knowledge and understanding of Order to Cash, its financial and business impacts and the interdependencies across processes
- Team Leadership and Communication skills
- Experience in recruiting and Onboarding staff
- Experience in Training staff on transnational processes
- Finance Transformation or Project management exposure
- Analytical approach and problem solver
- Senior Management level presentation and stakeholder management skills preferred
- Service Delivery orientated
- Experience in managing a high volume, fastpaced complex process environment

**Salary & Benefits**
