Are you a Speech & Language Therapist with a passion for supporting children with complex learning needs? This is your chance to join a warm, skilled, and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team — and see your work make a difference every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Empowering Pupils: Deliver targeted, specialist, and universal interventions that support diverse communication needs.
  • AAC in Action: Use low-, lite-, and high-tech AAC as part of an inclusive Total Communication approach.
  • Supporting Dysphagia Needs: Provide input for a small but developing group of pupils with identified feeding difficulties (basic dysphagia training essential).
  • Working Collaboratively: Partner with families, class teams, and external professionals to ensure consistent, meaningful communication support.
  • Training Others: Lead engaging training sessions for parents, class teams, and whole-school staff.
  • Contributing to EHCPs: Provide high-quality reports and input for reviews and SEND planning.
  • Professional Growth: Benefit from regular supervision and guidance from a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist.

Who You Are

  • Qualified, HCPC-Registered Speech & Language Therapist
  • AAC Confident — comfortable using a range of tools and approaches
  • Dysphagia-trained (basic level required)
  • A Great Communicator who works collaboratively, compassionately, and creatively
  • Outcome-Focused, with a drive to help children achieve their fullest potential
