CNC Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Plater (Surface Treatments) to join our client in Yeovil.

Location: Yeovil

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Summary of Objectives

This role is responsible for processing components through treatment lines, ensuring all work meets strict aerospace and defence specifications, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

* Process components through surface treatment lines (including plating and anodising)

* Carry out jigging and preparation of components prior to treatment

* Perform operator inspections to ensure quality standards are met

* Work in accordance with technical specifications, drawings, and work instructions

* Maintain treatment tanks, including chemical additions and stock checks

* Monitor process parameters to ensure consistency and compliance

* Identify and report defects or non-conformances

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and environmental regulations

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department

* Accurately complete production and process documentation

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

* Relevant experience in plating or surface treatments within manufacturing

Desirable:

* Experience within aerospace or defence environments

* Knowledge or experience in Electroless Nickel Plating (ENP)
