Stride Recruitment are activley recruiting an ongoing HGV Refuse Collections Driver to work out of our clients depot based in Suffolk, CO10 2XH with starting rates of £17.25 and £25.87 overtime there are Inductions being held ASAP.

Core details:

- 6am to 3 / 3.30pm daily.

- Monday - Friday average basic is 38k/42k per annum before overtime or progression

- Ongoing contract weekly pay with opportunties for permenant employment

Core duties:

* Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job

* Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal

* Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed

* Complete relevant paperwork in real time

* Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use

* Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.

* Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users

What you will need:

* Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)

* Driver CPC

* Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Self-motivated

* Willingness to undertake tasks

* Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff
