Senior Commissioning Officer - Adult Social Care (Supported Living)

Full time - 37 Hours a week 

Hybrid working model Ideally one day per week in the office however Remote working considered due to project-based nature of the role. Occasional travel to Solihull for stakeholder engagement

Pay: £26.19 per hour (umbrella) - Some flexibility available on rates

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Officer to join our Adult Social Care team, with a focus on supported living services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and review service specifications
Engage and work collaboratively with providers and stakeholders
Prepare clear, robust business cases to support strategic decision-making
Lead and deliver commissioning activity within supported living
Essential Experience and Skills

Strong understanding of Adult Social Care
Proven commissioning experience within a Local Authority setting
Experience commissioning supported living services
Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to produce high-quality, well-structured documentation
