The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the Southwark area.
The school supports pupils with a range of complex SEN needs, including Autism (ASD), communication difficulties, and SEMH. You will be part of a highly supportive team, working in a structured and nurturing environment designed to help pupils thrive both academically and socially.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in young people's lives.

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Support pupils with Autism, communication, and emotional regulation needs
* Implement structured routines and tailored support strategies
* Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning materials
* Help create a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
* Deliver targeted interventions and support EHCP outcomes
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Requirements:
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or specialist setting
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Ability to support pupils with additional needs, including Autism and SEMH
* Understanding of safeguarding, SEN practice, and inclusive education
