The CDM Consultant Role In this role, you'll support clients through the pre-construction phase, ensuring CDM 2015 duties are clearly understood and effectively managed. You'll lead design-risk reviews, support compliance and fire-safety-related work, and contribute to bids and tenders. This position suits someone with strong foundations who is ready to progress, build relationships and help shape a high-performing team.
CDM Consultant Responsibilities * Advise clients on their duties under CDM 2015* Lead pre-construction risk assessments and design-stage reviews* Coordinate information between designers, contractors and consultants* Produce and review CDM documentation (PCI, CPP, H&S Files)* Support fire safety and broader compliance activity* Build and manage strong client relationships* Contribute to bid and tender submissions* Mentor and guide junior colleagues
CDM Consultant Requirements * Minimum 6 years' experience in CDM, Health & Safety, design risk or a related field* Strong understanding of CDM regulations and construction risk management* Excellent communication and report-writing skills* Previous mentoring or people-management experience* Confident, organised and able to engage across multidisciplinary teams* Ability to be office-based in Eltham 2-3 days each week
