Join a well-established and independent firm as a Legal Assistant in the Private Client Department. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to a team of fee earners, combining secretarial, PA, and legal work under supervision. If you have a passion for the legal field and are looking for a varied and engaging workload, this position could be the perfect fit.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide comprehensive support to fee earners, including dictation, typing, and managing correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring high levels of service and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and organise legal documents with a keen eye for detail.
  • Utilise strong IT skills to manage case management systems and databases.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, offering support and assistance as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Take initiative and use organisational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous legal experience would be great especially within a Private Client department but any secretarial experience will be considered
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Strong IT proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent in carrying out dictation and typing tasks.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Confidence, proactivity, and a team-focused approach.
